Charlize Theron Kisses a Girl for $140K

One lady paid a lot of smackeroos ($140,000 bucks, that is) to smack lips with Charlize Theron at a charity event last night in San Francisco. The actress got up on stage to take bids on a trip to South Africa, complete with World Cup tickets and a meet-n-greet with Nelson Mandela, but arms stopped raising after the $37,000 mark. Not to be outdone by Jeremy Piven, who had just raked in $280,000 on his turn, she added a little somethin' to the package: a kiss.

She told the audience (via Us magazine):  For f*** sake! You can do better. There is no way I am leaving here with Jeremy Piven getting a higher bid. I've got t**** for God's sake."

That's when things perked up. A man in the crowd offered $130,000 for a 7-second kiss, then got outbid at $135,000, and a woman hit the sweet spot at $140,000. The actress said, "My boyfriend is not here tonight," and puckered up for the 20-second kiss as the audience counted down.

Looks like Matt Damon (who was supposed to host the event, but couldn't make it due to a "serious family emergency") really missed out.
