Ever since then, ABC has been involved in a prolonged court battle against the FCC after the government agency fined the network for the indecency of showing Charlotte's cheeky side.
Charlotte Ross (Getty) On Friday, the final word in the case was given and the US Second Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the $1.21 million worth of fines brought by the FCC against ABC. While Charlotte Ross' posterior has been at the center of the case for the last (nearly) eight years, she's kept working. Now 42, Charlotte is now known to Glee fans as cheerleader Quinn Fabray's mom, Judy Fabray.
Most importantly for fans of Charlotte's now-infamous scene in NYPD Blue, the actress hasn't let age stand in the way of her filming some racy material. She recently revealed that she shot a scene for her new movie with Nicolas Cage, Drive Angry, in which she goes full-frontal in 3D.
"I do full frontal nudity and it's [in] 3D," she told E!. "That was a very intense experience... I'm not 20 anymore and it's 3D--nudity 3D! This is raw, hard-core--not hard-core, but I mean, there are no nipple covers!"
