POUGHKEEPSIE -- Poughkeepsie Police Chief Ron Knapp released a statement late Friday evening saying that the officer caught in an exchange of gunfire outside the train station has died from his injuries.Officer in Poughkeepsie shooting dies The unidentified officer, an 18-year veteran, was shot in the head.
