Termed the “boy wonder of culinary Washington” by the New York Times, José is an internationally recognized culinary innovator known for bringing both traditional and avant-garde Spanish fare to America. Often called the Spain’s unofficial ambassador to the United States, José influences the way Americans eat today. In May 2007, he will be inducted into the Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in American, by the James Beard Foundation joining only 191 members for this prestigious recognition.
