Amber Dubois' Disappearance Possibly Linked to Chelsea King Case

Amber Dubois went missing at 14 just over a year ago while she was walking to school, and John Albert Gardner, the man arrested in connection with the disappearance of 17-year-old Chelsea King, could be linked to the case. Authorities arrested Gardner Sunday and are looking into the possibility, according to SignOnSanDiego.com.

Gardner is apparently not cooperating with authorities, but is being held on suspicion of rape and murder. The 30-year-old registered sex offender is believed to have also attacked a female jogger in the same area King went missing from while on a run last week.

Charges have not yet been filed in the King case, but the district attorney has said they will be filed by Wednesday, according to LA Times. Search crews and helicopters are continuing their search for King today.
