But some fans wonder why Chelsea is Ms. Kane these days instead of Chelsea Staub — the name she used when she was in Bratz: The Movie and Jonas L.A.

Chelsea was born Chelsea Kane Staub, but she explained via Twitter, "People struggled with pronouncing and spelling 'Staub.' Got tired of 'Stab' and 'Stub,' so 'Chelsea Kane' makes life simpler. I know it's a little strange to get used to, but thanks for making the best of it until we all get comfortable with it!"

It's all good, except for the fact that the last name Kane is totally Susan Lucci's territory. Just saying.
