Slow news morning thus far, but this is definitely something that caught my eye.  Former Indian outfielder Brian Giles’ name hit the news wire, but not for a reason that he would likely prefer. San Diego Padres outfielder Brain Giles was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday because of a right knee contusion.The injury is to Giles' right knee, the same knee that he had surgery on following the 2007 season. Giles injured the knee when he landed on first base during a game against the Seattle Mariners on June 18.
