Soccer Wives Are Really Forgiving

(Photo by Photo Agency)In a recent interview with the UK edition of Vogue, Cheryl Cole, an English pop star and wife of footballer Ashley Cole made it clear that soccer wives may be the nicest wives in any professional sport.
When asked about her husband's fidelity, she totally defended him, despite the fact that he very publicly cheated on her in early 2008.
Ashley's young and he's got a young mentality -- for his age anyway... He's learning. He has a beautiful soul, he's a really nice guy and I'm not stupid, you know. I'm really not. I know what I'm doing. I've had enough knocks in the past to know what the circumstances are, and I'm happy. If other people aren't, then that's their problem." Well, at least she has the confidence to stay with him after being publicly embarrassed by multiple women who came forward to say that they to slept with Ashley Cole.
Still, she might want to reconsider her tactic and take some lessons from some American athlete's wives: Get out and take as much money as you can.
