In the case of a car being donated, the winner of said car should not make the attempt to raise said car over one's head nor take a bite of it as noted in the section above.

UPDATE 1:

1. Time submittal:
1a. Use the Honor system1b. Use a watch, stop watch or an electronic device1c. I will be creating a link to Surveymonkey.com for participants to enter their information. In this manner, it is easier for the participants and I to record and sort the entries.
2. Distance and how to measure 6.2 miles or 10k:
2a. Use an electronic gps device such as a Garmin, Polar, Timex, etc. Run until 6.2 miles or 10k is achieved. Stop device and record time.
2b. Get in a car. Reset the trip odometer.
2b1. Out and back course: From your starting point, drive 3.1 miles. Stop and note any landmarks so you can remember when to turn-around. If no landmarks, create one or use chalk to indicate where you should turn-around. On race day, run fast!
2b2. Round trip: Same as 2b1, but incrediblly difficult to achieve. Many attempts may be required to hit it on the nose.

3. PRIZE Donations:
3a. gdionelli : A big thank you for stepping-up and recommending donations!
3b. Post to the site what age group and note what prize you are donating.
3c. It is the responsibility of the donator to mail the prize to the winner.
3d. This is to be a fun event! Prizes are simply the icing on the cake. We will make all attempts to fulfill the prize requirements but sometimes life just gets in the way and fails us. So winners, take pride in your accomplishment and when the prize arrives, hold it high and take a photo and post -- otherwise, hold your hands high in the air, take photo and post!
3e. Would be great for the running apparel and shoe manufactures or other races to step-up and donate some prizes, gift certificates or waivers/discounts to their races! After all, this viral race was created out of frustration of the recession's impact upon our beloved sport -- running. If you're out there, please contact me at therunningbob@gmail.com

4. Age groups:
4a. This could be a small event or a large one.
4b. Due to 4a and my limited means, here are the male and female age groups.11-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and above
