There is a lot to see in Dublin. In fact there are loads to see in Dublin, far too much to fit in one short article. However, we will attempt to guide you through some of the Irish capital’s favorite historic sites and artifacts.
The Book of Kells

The Son Of James von Brunn Apologizes For His Father's Actions: Who Is Apologizing For Reverend Jeremiah Wright? In a statement, the son of James Von Brunn called his father's shooting at the Holocaust Museum an act of cowardice, and said that his family had been tormented by his father's beliefs all of their lives:"For a long time, I believed this was our family's cross to bear. Now, it is not only my families' lives that are in shambles, but those who were directly affected by his actions...Read Full Story
Nick Cannon Performing at the Generation Obama Concert in Los Angeles. Over the Weekend Neyo performed for the president and last night he performed for Presidential hopeful Barack Obama. Maybe Neyo musical abilities are in high demand or he just can't chose which side to be on Democrat or Republican. But one things for sure Neyo is definately a performer. I haven't heard anything about the Goo Goo dolls in a long time, but last night they came out to support Presidential Hopeful Barack Obama...Read Full Story
I heard most of the sermon. My thoughts:
Content:
Pretty banal stuff. Wright mentioned that he mostly talks about Christ before offering his thoughts on culturo-historical issues of the day. His main message was that people see others as "deficient" and that those people are "deficiant(?)." He gave racial, cultural, and musical examples. I don't know. I think things can be different, but of a similar quality. On the other hand, can I think that Milli Vanilli is deficient vis a vis Handel...Read Full Story
CNN Correspondent Roland Smith decided to examine Reverend Jeremiah Wright's 9/11 and God Damn America sermons in context after media coverage on FOX, ABC,NBC,MSNC, CNN and other outlets dissected the pastor's speeches into sensationalized sound bites. The journalist wrote an examination of the sermons on his Anderson Cooper 360 blog. Watch Thomas Cahill's definition of genocide and racism on Bill Moyers Journal.
This sermon was delivered on Sept. 16, 2001 and is titled, “The Day of...Read Full Story

Once upon a time, analysts, pundits and historians explored the relationship between a given subject and his father. We do so for possible insight into the subject's values, character, decision-making process, biases, interests, fears, etc. You know -- acorn, tree. But the standard intellectual inquiry, for some reason, does not apply to the long, intimate relationship between Barack Obama and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who called himself a...

I'm not a regular viewer of Fox News' Hannity, but in between watching commercials during the Celtics-76ers broadcast on TNT Monday night, I did see Sarah Palin lead off a long opening bloc to begin that telecast.
Palin sympathized with Hannity, who last week said he was disappointed to learn that Mitt Romney would not use President Obama's former pastor, the controversial Reverend Jeremiah Wright, as a vehicle to go after Obama during this...
[Mitt Romney invokes Reverend Jeremiah Wright during interview with Sean Hannity]
Ah, I smell the odor of desperation in the morning. When the Fox polls are showing Obama pulling ahead of Romney, it is required that Mitt Romney's billionaire boys step up with a proposal for a smear, and so they have. Disturbed that the President is well-liked, this particular proposal is to mount a coordinated media campaign to make him a little less likable...

(Paul Mirengoff) I have enormous respect for Karl Rove. So I was disappointed to hear him say, on Fox News Sunday, that it is “stupid” for Republicans to raise questions about Barack Obama’s association with Rev. Wright because “the issue was litigated four years ago by John McCain deciding not to litigate it.” Litigated by virtue of not being litigated? This is lawyer talk; the language of Barack Obama. It’s not the
