Our Cubbies have been awarded a waiver claim on Scott Podsednik. The Cubs and the Sux now have 48 hours to work out a trade or the Sux can pull him off of waivers or let him go to the North Side for Nada.

If we end up with the speedy, left fielder, Scotty Pods fills a hole until Fonzie gets back, but what then? How many outfielders with no home run power do we need? More importantly, what happens to Felix Pie?

I am the biggest Pie supporter you will ever read, I don't care that he isn't hitting. Pie's energy, speed and defense make the Cubs better. The Lovable Ones are 33-17 in games in which Pie appears. Also, Pie and Fonzie seem to have some weird man crush on each other. Soriano even rejoined the team in Denver so he can hang with his buddy Felix.

Either way, welcome to the North Side Scott, I hope you don't suck.
