Mark Buerhrle threw a great game, and started the team off strong for the coming season. This is the 8th record-setting starting season for the pitcher, according to the AP.

"I think once you retire and sit back and look at everything you've accomplished and everything you've done, I think it will stand out a little bit more. I'm thankful the guys made the decision to throw me back out there when there's three other guys just as capable as I am to go out there and do it."
The team's manager Ozzie Guillen said before the game that he wants his team to be hated this season -- for being awesome. "People hate good teams," he said. "Just because they're good. We wanna be good...we wanna be cocky. That's the attitude I want them to have."
