Chikezie Eze Arrested for Identity Theft

The former American Idol star was busted at Neiman Marcus and booked on felony identity theft. Apparently the store flagged his card as stolen.
Chikezie Eze (Getty)He was released from jail on $50,000 bail, and a rep for the department store apparently said they are "cooperating with authorities" in the matter. He was the 10th place finalist on AI's seventh season.
Chikezie auditioned for the reality show for the 6th season, but didn't make the cut into the top 40. He was chosen the next season, when he was voted off when he, Jason Castro, and Syesha Mercado were in the bottom 3.
