I Couldn’t Be Without My Lippy!

My lipstick fetish is the subject of a short article in the latest issue of Practical Parenting magazine.

“I couldn’t have got through labour without my lipstick! For some reason, feeling glam was what kept me going! My hair was a bedraggled mess, I was sweating buckets and had enormous bags under my eyes, but as long as I had my lipstick, I felt great.

The midwives thought I was crazy! One of them snapped, ‘Forget your lipstick and push!’ because I kept asking my hubby to reapply when I was in the final stages of labour. It was psychological, I suppose, but it worked for me!”
