Photo Illustrations--Two Kids and a Dog Named Arnie
Bedbug here swinging round to bug ya! While all may seem quiet, progress is being made on the book starring "yours truly."
Now, as readers will be aware, this first book . . . is just that--the first book. There will be other stories in the Bedbug series. But . . . back to the first book . . .
I heard from my publisher and she related that the photo/illustrations were being created. But not without difficulty! What happens when you have two children bouncing around and a dog named Arnie bent on getting underfoot and having his picture taken? Chaos! with a capital "C."
My publisher related that poor Arnie got locked away so that the hard-working illustrator could do his job. When I read that, I bu-giggled all morning. I could just picture Arnie "woofing" from behind a door, wanting to get in on the excitement!
So, The Bedbug Who Wouldn't Bite, copyright, Melody Rhodes, 2009 is creeping closer to publication.
I mentioned previously that at the end of each story in the Bedbug series, a clue will lead into the next story. My publisher informs me she has been working on the "clue." Little ones will enjoy searching for the clue for insights about the next story in the series.
