Book Cover--Cover in the Works
Bedbug is happy to announce that after looking at a couple of cover designs and fiddling with the formatting, we now have a book cover for The Bedbug Who Wouldn't Bite copyright Melody Rhodes, 2009. Additional tweaks may be forthcoming but the basic book cover design is decided upon!
This is exciting! Grandma read through the storyboard again and likes what she sees regarding the illustrations. She has sent off notes to the publisher about adding one illustration in particular to the first Bedbug book.
Thinking in terms of a Bedbug series means grandma has to consider all the Bedbug books instead of just the single stories. Everything has to fit together like pieces in a puzzle.
Each Bedbug book introduces a new character or situation and grandma has an idea about a clue being given at the end of each story so young ones get a hint of what's to come--if they know where to look!!
What's poor Bedbug gotta do to get some sleep?
