The Cavan Tommy Hoey Trust held its Rare Disease Day on the 29th Feburary 2012 it was a great night where families were able to express just how difficult it is to have a child diagnosed with a rare disease they spoke of how it has blown their family apart and sometimes causes the marriage to break down due to the added pressure it causes on the family and family circle this is somthing that was high lighted at the meeting.
