China and Jack Cafferty

The Chinese are unhappy with Jack Cafferty. Well, keep it up Jack. Any country that will sell me tainted food for my dogs and cats and lead covered products for my kids does not deserve my support. Before I look at the price, I look at where its made. If it says "Made In China," too bad; I won't buy it.

The Chinese may have the long view (thinking of Chou En-Lai's comment that it was too soon to tell about the effects of the French Revolution) but they certainly blew it over Tibet. The Wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim'rous beasties who are afraid of ruffling the Chinese don't seem to observe that most of the world finds China's behavior disgusting. If most of the world is willing to flip the Chinese off (as opposed to the Clinton campaign's assumption that Obama flipped off Clinton) then what can they do except lose business.

Long live secondary boycotts.
