March 29 (Bloomberg) -- India’s government will spend 1 billion rupees ($20 million) buying flats in the Commonwealth Games village from cash-strapped developer Emaar-MGF Land Ltd., the Business Standard newspaper reported, citing M. Ramachandran, an official with the Ministry of Urban Development.
