Chloe Lattanzi is Olivia Newton-John’s daughter. Chloe has been lambasted which, for the purposes of reviewing her latest video Play with Me means either …..1) The art of completly tearing someone to pieces.
2) A state of anti-sobriety indicative of astronomical blood alcohol/drug levels.
3). Drunk to the point of belligerence and extreme incoherence.
4) A sheep that has been born out of wedlock.
For Chloe it’s all of the above. If this musical crack-head thinks that hiding her vocal electronica (meaning vocal depression or lack of talent) behind a fierce lambasting is a fast route to Madonna-hood then she’s going about it the right way. The video-nasty that joins Play with me has been lambasted by everyone. It opens with a graphic content warning followed by a guy taking a dump, self harming and suicides before ending in a halo of cocaine.
Given that the newsroom floor over at Associated reverberates to the sound of You’re the one that I want and Summer nights (I know I know it’s on loop ) it’s not surprising their editors have not shown the vid and have gone for lambast rather than flattery as Chloe defiles all that was good and wholesome in her mother’s career.
Chloe describes her controversial music video as a form of ‘artistic expression‘…
“It’s about dying inside in front of the one you love, and that person not noticing what’s really going on inside you, being unseen, unheard and desperate for love and attention,
It’s purely just for artistic value. I don’t want to kill myself, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to kill anybody, I don’t want anyone to die, it’s all just in the name of fun.”
Jump to this extraordinarily badly timed ‘work of art ‘ and see for yourself.
That’s all I have to say about that.
