The shortest Browns player has raised his profile. Generously listed at 5-foot-9, Jerome Harrison has been told he's too small to play football for as long as he can remember. "I've heard that all my life," he said, "and I've been scoring touchdowns my whole life. Opinions and thoughts don't define me.  

For a coach on the hot seat, Eric Mangini is acting pretty cool. Mangini will learn next week if he'll be back for a second season with the Cleveland Browns after meeting on Monday or Tuesday with new team president Mike Holmgren. The Browns (4-11) have won three straight heading into Sunday's season finale against Jacksonville.  

Eric Mangini was a ball boy and wide-eyed media relations intern for the Browns the last time they won four straight games. In 1994, one year before Cleveland's unimaginable move as a franchise to Baltimore, Mangini's future in the NFL seemed boundless. Now, his time in Cleveland could be up: Mangini may not make it to his one-year anniversary as Browns coach.  

The Browns ran their way to a season-closing four wins in a row thanks to a fine effort in the ground game. Cleveland beat Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Oakland and Jacksonville by pounding the ball for 900 yards rushing in four games. That's an average of 225 yards per game. Jaguars wide receiver Torry Holt and Jacksonville cornerback Rashean Mathis are inactive for Sunday's snowy season finale against the Cleveland Browns. Holt injured his hand in last week's loss to New England. He finishes the season with 51 receptions for 722 yards. Mike Thomas starts for Holt.

Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis hasn't ruled out a return to the NFL, even though he is still suffering from headaches and blurred vision as a result of a concussion that ended his season. Lewis says he must first receive clearance from doctors before contemplating a return. There is no timeline for when he could -- or even would -- be cleared.
