Bosh, formerly of the Toronto Raptors, will join Dywane Wade, in what many expect to be one of the best starting five in the league.

Wade, who has played seven seasons with the Heat, and Bosh made the announcement in tandem. The two friends had discussed the move in depth, as both were free agents and both were seeking a team where they could play together.

“I’m joining Mr. Wade in Miami,” said Bosh, speaking to ESPN.

Wade, meanwhile, said the move was “just an unbelievable opportunity for me to play with someone of his caliber.”
