In 2010, against the Bills, Chris Crocker left the game with a right knee injury after attempting to tackle Fred Jackson on the sideline. He would not return for the rest of the season and would need surgery to repair a torn MCL and PCL. Crocker would return for the Bengals in 2011 and start all 16 games at free safety, but midway through the season his knee began to give him issues and he was not 100 percent.

Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton and veteran safety Chris Crocker were honored on Monday by the Cincinnati Chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America, two days after they were eliminated from the playoffs by the Texans in Houston by a score of 31-10. Dalton was named the team's MVP and Crocker was given the annual Good Guy award.

According to The Cincinnati Enquirer's Joe Reedy, both Bengals safety Chris Crocker and backup middle linebacker Dan Skuta have received a nice little early Christmas present from the NFL -- fine letters.
