Dyson Dc23 Motorhead It is too early to tell whether this will be a long-serving vacuum cleaner. I guess the fact that this is our second Dyson shows we believe it will be though. First impressions then are that it is very powerful model. Much more than our previous Dyson upright (DC07). The motorhead attachment really makes up for the fact that it is a cylinder model. It is easier to use than an upright but with the same level of carpet-capability. Since half our house is hardwood flooring this only needs the lightweight hard floor tool which beats the upright for weight and ... Read Full Story

Dyson DC23 Stowaway Allergy After reading a few bad reviews on this Dyson I certainly had my concerns on it. People were saying that it was too heavy?? awkward to use?? had a small capacity?? and the best of all the lack of suction??????..... So I went home and put it to the test. I have two different types of carpet in my house, short and long pile and this vacuum cleaner works very well on both. I also have a hardwood floor in my hall which the Dyson also cleans very well. Its a very compact machine and will fit into small cupboards ... Read Full Story

Dyson DC25 Animal My Dyson DC25 Animal has just arrived and within minutes I had it put together and had given it a trial on the sitting room rug. I was amazed. I had forgotten what the real colour of the rug is, and a good once over almost filled the dirt container! At least a cup of sand came out of the carpet and at least a whole dog moult, even though I had regularly vacuumed with my old machine. And I haven't even used the animal mini turbine head yet! I am delighted. The Dyson is so easy to use and the ... Read Full Story

Dyson DC14 All Floors I've had a Dyson for 15 years and decided it was time to replace my old DC01 (which was still working and has never broken down). We have a mixture of hard floors and carpets and I wanted something that could cope with both so I didn't have to store 2 vacs. I've had the DC14 All Floors for 3 months now and I love it. Yes it is heavy but it is VERY powerful. It has no problem coping with dog hair and works BRILLIANTLY on both hard floor and carpet - it's child's play to switch from one ... Read Full Story

Dyson DC23 Stowaway Animal Upgrading from a resilient DC02 which survived relentless hoovering of plaster and grit from domestic building works I opted for another Dyson. This model chosen particularly because of its superior 1400W motor and, more importantly, 280 airwatts suction (the highest rating I could find and 25% higher than the more expensive Dyson DC21 Motorhead Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner ). In use, on carpet the motorised brush heads are very effective indeed giving noticeably impressive results, picking up hair and dust that the DC02 couldn't and noticeably reviving the appearance of the pile. On relatively smooth wooden floor the suction is obvious, ... Read Full Story
The opening tee shot in a round of golf is always important, and there’s never been a more accurate blow off the first tee than the one struck, so legend has it, by Christy O’Connor Sr many decades ago. “Himself”, as the great man is known in ...
