Locally-based fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars were able to watch the team play a game on television this past Sunday, something that isn't likely to be a possibility when the Jags are working in their home stadium this year.  

This isn't quite where the Jacksonville Jaguars or New York Jets expected to be at this point in the season. They're both a mediocre 4-4 and know their playoff chances will be largely affected by what happens Sunday at the Meadowlands. "It's a must win for both of us," Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis said.  

A week after changing defensive schemes, the Jacksonville Jaguars are changing defensive personnel. Second-year player Bryan Smith, signed off St. Louis' practice squad six weeks ago, will make his first career start Sunday at the New York Jets. Smith replaces defensive end Quentin Groves, a former second-round pick who has struggled to find a role with the Jaguars (4-4).
