Chris Nilan -- Shoplifting charges dropped against Stanley Cup winner

Shoplifting charges against Chris Nilan, a former NHL hockey player and 1986 Stanley Cup winner, were dismissed today after Nilan, who was accused of trying to leave a store with a bathing suit under his clothes, agreed to stay out of the store and paid $100 in court costs.The AP reported:Police say the 51-year-old Nilan denied stealing and scuffled with the guards.Nilan, whose nickname was "Knuckles," had more than 3,000 penalty minutes in a 13-year career with Montreal, the New York Rangers...Read Full Story
