This Means War. This Means Crap Movie Flop more like. Just watch the trailer (complete with terrible sound lag) and tell me you’re impressed. I dare you.
I’m not impressed by this film at all. It’s a terrible idea. As if two Bond-types would risk their lives and their careers over a girl, especially one played by Reese Witherspoon.
And then there is the mixing of genres: it’s a romantic comedy, it’s a thriller, it’s a gun-toting action movie. Choose one genre and stick to it. Please.
It’s no wonder Hollywood is in trouble when it insists on releasing crap like This Means War. But I did expect more from Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, two young actors considered the best of the next generation.
