Earlier in January, Falcons owner Arthur Blank made it clear that changes to player personnel would be made. Each position would be evaluated and no player was exempt from losing his job. These are strong words and it will be interesting to see how this roster shake up will be handled. Atlanta Falcons new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan is considering a hybrid defense based upon the players on the roster and their specific talents. In an early interview with the ajc.com Nolan did not completely rule out the use of the 3-4 scheme.
