The official version of Chris Rene‘s ‘Young Homie’ has now surfaced in its studio form. The song became quite the sensation when he performed it at his opening and closing on X Factor USA. The finalist has just signed a record deal with Epic Records, in which he hopes to enjoy a prosperous music career. The studio version of ‘Young Homie’ was clearly watered down so that it could appeal to as many people as possible. It’s still a good song with an inspiring message but some of its original grit got lost in the production. Take a listen to it below.
