This was her series debut, and she apparently blamed her crash on a fellow racer, Paul Menard. She said it was a “dumb mistake on his part.” Wallace is one of the few females in the race, but is largely overshadowed by
Danica Patrick's popularity.
However, Wallace isn't the only one in her family at the race today, in a car, that is. Her father Mike Wallace, uncle Kenny Wallace and cousin Steve Wallace also were in the race today at the Daytona International Speedway.
