Christian Lacroix is a high-end fashion designer. Born in Arles, France, Lacroix started his career at Jean Patou in 1981. In 1987, he launched his own ready-to-wear business.
French designer Christian Lacroix, who filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, is in talks with Sheikh Hassan bin Ali al-Nuaimi - the nephew of United Arab Emirates ruler Ajman - about investing $70 million in the company.
