Gay Pastor Defies Church
“We are going to set up a church just like any other one but the only difference is that we affirm and welcome those who openly declare themselves gays, lesbians or homosexuals,” Ouyang told Agence France-Presse.
The pastor’s intention to open a homosexual-oriented church is opposed by not only Christians but also Muslims in a country where 60 percent are followers of Islam.
“It is the deviant sexual behavior we do not condone,” commented the Rev. Wong Kin Kong, secretary general of Malaysia’s National Evangelical Christian Fellowship, according to the Malaysia Star. “We cannot stop him wanting to set up such a kind of church, but the evangelical churches will inform followers of our stand and advise them not to follow this teaching.”

Does God hate homosexuals? No, of course not. He loves them with a sacrificial love. But He also wants them to repent, just as He does every other sinner.
"Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die....? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD. "Therefore turn and live!" (Ezek 18:31-32)
God welcomes the gay community into His church -- but only AFTER they have recognised their sin, sought forgiveness, and repented of their behaviour, just as with the rest of us who may have been liars, cheats, and adulterers.
"Or do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

The evangelical community of Malaysia is right to be taking a stand against this perversion of the Gospel. Doing so is at the very heart of God. Any cursory reading of the prophets can tell us that.
God is NOT INCLUSIVE of practicing sinners who refuse to recognise and repent of the sin which His Son was whipped and died for. But, those who have confessed and repented of their sin are blessed! Jesus said, "if you love Me you will keep My commands" - John 14:21. That implies repentance and obedience.
"Blessed are those who do His commandments that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie." (Rev 22:14-15)
Inclusion into Christ's church comes through repentance, not acceptance, of sin.
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Cor 6:11)
"Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power

Let's pray for those Malaysian Christians who still believe in the literal interpretation of God's Word. They'll probably have a big fight on their hands in the years ahead.
