Christie Brinkley is an American model. A talented artist, Brinkley was working in Paris as an entry-level illustrator when she was discovered by a photographer at a post office. She signed a contract with Cover Girl cosmetics in 1976, and continued to represent them for twenty years. She was married to musician Billy Joel for several years, and was the inspiration for the songs "Uptown Girl," "The Longest Time," and "Christie Lee," among others.
