Christina Ricci Calls Off Engagement

Actress Christina Ricci and her comedian fiance Owen Benjamin have called off their engagement, People magazine reports. The two became engaged in March after costarring together in the film All's Faire in Love, but somewhere along the way the relationship fizzled.
A insider close to the couple said:
Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off. If it sounds like an impulsive decision, it's apparently not. "They really are still close," says another source. "They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends."
