Sher is perhaps best known for playing Wednesday Addams in "The Addams Family" and its sequel, although she has had a successful career as an adult as well. Christina Ricci and Owen Benjamin engagement ends
Christina Ricci agreed to marry to comedian Owen in March this year but the couple decided to end their wedding plans earlier this week after a huge argument.
"Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday (31.05.09), and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to re-evaluate things. Then the engagement was off."
Christina, 29, met 'The House Bunny' star Owen, 28, last year on the set of film 'All's Faire in Love' which they both starred in.
Despite the shock separation, friends of the former couple insist they remain on friendly terms.
A source added: "They really are still close. They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends."
'Penelope' actress Christina previously revealed she was getting desperate to wed.
She said: "I just want to be married, or just engaged. Basically, I just want a ring! And the tax break!"
