Ideas for Homemade Christmas Ornaments -Coastal Style!
I posted this idea earlier here: Make a Beach Ornament, then I found this beauty here made by the talented Alisa from Life is a Beautiful Place. And I just love how the shell's dangling! And as Jessica from The Entertaining House pointed out, only fill it with a little bit of sand or it may be too heavy to hang.
Place a frosted glass ornament on a mug or glass, take out your acrylic paints and let your inner artist flow!
Got some small Dritfwood pieces? They make fun Santas!
And Quaogh shells are a great canvas too. Prime the inside, then paint.
Glittered shells make such festive Christmas ornaments and just in case you missed it..., if you love glitter you have to check out the post Glitter Crafts, which includes some great starfish ornaments.
Adorn a sanddollar, and you've got a sparkling elegant ornament.
The sky is the limit to what you can glue onto sanddollars, starfish or shells.

And if you happen to have some sea glass, you could wrap the pieces in wire and hang them as ornaments. Or string them together into a garland as shown here: Coastal Christmas Ornaments.
