It's Christmas time again
A time for bright lights and carols
Junior is calm
He loves to be held
And together we sway to the tunes
The jingle bells
And to the silent nights


As I hold him
I can't help but imagine
The fond memories
I am creating with him
How someday he will look back
With nostalgia
When I am long gone

This Christmas I am mindful
That life is short
Our moments are fleeting
And beauty and strength
Fade away
Just as the summer into winter
So I will cherish this moment
