verbum caro factum est

In the beginning was the Word.

Some two thousand years ago, in the town of Bethlehem in the Roman Province of Judea, through an unwed teenage mother (whom some would later call the Mother of God), the Word was made flesh---verbum caro factum est.

And for thirty-three years he dwelt amongst us.
