Evan Parke Joins Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’

It’s been a little while since we heard anything about Quentin Tarantino‘s next movie, Django Unchained.  Set pictures which surfaced earlier this month revealed the film is looking pretty good.  The latest casting news for the film is that Evan Parke has joined the cast.  The actor has previously featured films such as Peter Jackson’s King Kong, Lasse Hallström‘s The Cider House Rules, and Tim Burton‘s Planet of the Apes. The role Evan Parke will play in Tarantino’s film is not yet known.

Evan Parke joins a cast which already includes Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Don Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprioKerry Washington, Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, M.C. Gainey, Sacha Baron Cohen, Dennis Christopher, Gerald McRaney, Laura Cayouette, and Tom Savini.

Django Unchained follows the story of a slave-turned gun for hire, Django (Jamie Foxx) who heads back to a plantation with a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to rescue his wife from the evil plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio).  Django Unchained is slated for release 26 December 2012.

We didn’t manage to show you the set pics first time round, so to make up for that, here they are now.
