FORMER Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston has finally spoken out about his short-lived tenancy in the TARDIS. He says he quit his role as the Time Lord because he did not enjoy the working environment and wanted to be his "own man". A TARDIS used to transport Christopher Eccleston's Doctor Who across the universe is among items in an auction taking place tomorrow. Built in 2005 for the ninth Time Lord, it is expected to fetch £8,000 to £12,000 at Bonhams' Entertainment Memorabilia auction in London on Wednesday.
