Chuck Grassley Tweets into the News

Senator Chuck Grassley has found his fingers on Twitter.  Perhaps, this is his first indulgence into the new world.  What a shame!

Grassley’s first tweet: “Pres Obama you got nerve while u sightseeing in Paris to tell us ‘time to deliver’ on health care. We still on skedul/even workinWKEND.”

A short time later: “Pres Obama while u sightseeing in Paris u said ‘time to delivr on healthcare’ When you are a ‘hammer’ u think evrything is NAIL I’m no NAIL.”

I guess the senator has nothing positive to ad to the conversation — and almost nothing readable.

President Obama took his first hit from some for taking FLOTUS to New York for a date night.  Now, because he spent a few hours sightseeing with his family while on a trip to Paris, Grassley has his knickers in a twist.  There is no need to defend the President for being human and spending time with family in a great city.  He is human and he is not accountable to us for every moment of his life.

“When you are a ‘hammer’ u think evrything is NAIL I’m no NAIL.”  Well, no!  Grassley is no nail.  We have seen a better side of Senator Grassley in days gone by.  He has done many good things during his tenure in the Senate.  Tweeting is not one of them.  But, his comments are indicative of the venom that has made the GOP toxic.
