Chuck Liddell Knocked Out at UFC 115

(Getty Images)more pics »Chuck Liddell's UFC career likely came to a close tonight at the UFC 115, where he faced Rich Franklin in the main event. The former UFC care light heavyweight titleholder was knocked out with seconds left in the first round of fighting at the General Motors Place in Vancouver tonight, according to Yahoo.com.
Rich Franklin knocked Chuck Liddell out tonight. (Getty)Liddell, called The Iceman, missed a shot, then Franklin countered with a quick right hook to the chin. Liddell dropped like a sack of potatoes after that hook landed, then Franklin connected with another powerful show while the former champ was on the ground, but the game was already over.
Liddell had been taking a break from the ring since being K-O'd by Mauricio Rua over a year ago in Montreal at UFC 97. It was the 3rd time he'd been knocked out, and took the time off to get back on his feet.
