Jodie Foster 'Shell-Shocked' After Being Dumped by Girlfriend Cindy Mort

Jodie Foster has reportedly been dumped by girlfriend Cindy Mort after a year together. Though she's never publicly acknowledged it, it's widely believed that the closest Foster has come to confirming her preference for women was in 2007, when she thanked her "beautiful Cydney" while accepting an award.

Last summer, Foster and live-in girlfriend of 14 years Cydney Bernard broke up, and she was soon known to be dating Cindy Mort. Now the National Enquirer reports that Mort has left foster for Hollywood nightclub promoter Amanda Demme, who has been previously linked to Lindsay Lohan.

"Ironically, now it's Jodie who has been jilted," an unnamed source told the Enquirer . "She's miserable."

Foster met Mort while filming The Brave One, and she reportedly fell apart upon losing Mort. "She was shell-shocked," said the source.
