Among our many victories in 2004 was the victory of Republican candidate John Thune over then-Democratic Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle. I still consider Senator Thune’s victory in that race one of the most defining of the entire election cycle, every bit as important as the re-election victory of President Bush over Senator John Kerry. I don’t expect another hugely victorious year for the Republican Party in 2008 with John McCain as our Presidential candidate, in fact I completely expect us to lose even more seats on top of the ones we lost in 2006. That’s why I’m working so hard for Republican congressional ... Read Full Story

Around 50 people joined anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan as she led a brief protest Monday afternoon near former President George W. Bush's Dallas home. Sheehan's 21-year-old son, Casey, was killed in the war in Iraq. She staged a prolonged demonstration outside Bush's ranch near Crawford, Texas, in 2005. She said her issues with Bush didn't end with his presidency. Protesters met at an intersection and then walked about a mile to an elementary school across from Bush's new home. Sheehan carried a sign that read, "For what noble cause." The event brought out about a dozen people protesting the protest and about two dozen ... Read Full Story

Yet Another Crack At The Telecom Issues, Golub (v) Pelosi…and some graphic commentary! And yet one more time, we need to hold the line against the criminal push from the White House for letting the telecoms off the hook for knowingly collaborating with their criminal actions in completely disregarding the law to wiretap million of ordinary peace loving U.S. citizens. Please call your House member yet again, tollfree at 800-828-0498, 800-614-2803 or 866-340-9281, and let them know how disgusted you would be if they were to cave in yet again. I do not wish to speak ill of Cindy Sheehan, but I have said ... Read Full Story

Democratic Congressional Candidates nationwide have suffered a huge setback as Speaker Nancy Pelosi will find herself in a precarious situation in San Francisco’s Congressional District, which she represents. Anti-War Advocate, Socialist, and all around crazy woman Cindy Sheehan has collected the required number of signatures to be included on San Francisco’s ballot for Pelosi’s seat in Congress. Nancy Pelosi is not only a bit frightening if you look at her for too long, but she’s a pretty far left liberal too, which is even more frightening. That said, Cindy Sheehan is even further left than Pelosi, which seems impossible, but is true. And actually, ... Read Full Story

THE CINDY SHEEHAN PAGE Cindy Sheehan Opens San Francisco Office Please Start Here… http://www.cindyforcongress.org/ Though Cindy has my admiration and support; I have from time to time been critical of Cindy and action her actions. I will probably continue to do so until I see and am convinced that there is a serious, viable campaign in place in California on her behalf to unseat Speaker Nancy Pelosi. I have held, and still hold to the fact that all 435 members of the House are up for (re)election in 2008, and as such, given the ferment in this nation; they are all vulnerable; they are ... The image most of us conjure when the name Cindy Sheehan surfaces is that of an enervated woman standing in the summer swelter on the side of the road, a few miles from George W. Bush's ranch near Crawford, Texas. Sheehan's four-week long vigil began August 6, 2005, when the Iraq war protests began to reach full boil. The media referred to it as Camp Casey, the name of her son, killed in enemy action in April 2004. Demanding a meeting with...
