I just studied abroad in Florence for three months, and it was wonderful….I was lucky enough to be able to visit all of these places. Florence is a wonderful place and there is so much to see and do. Depending on what your time schedule is like, I would spend about 4 days in Rome, if you go to Florence and spend a few days, Siena is not that far and is easily a day trip, and has the most beautiful piazza. I would say anywhere in the Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre (5 lands) is composed of 5 small villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, Corniglia, Riomaggiore. The Cinque Terre is a National Park and Unesco World Heritage site. They are tiny towns on cliffs overlooking the water…It’s like a piece of heaven.
