Can't win as a Democrat? Simply pretend to be a Republican
From Eric Dondero:RedState reports that embattled Democrat Congressman Ciro Rodriguez from San Antonio, running behind GOPer Quico Canseco, let his campaign website expire. In its place is a site promoting Republican paraphenalia. This image is what one sees if they click on to cirorodriguez.com. Also, accompanying the image, advertisements for Yard Signs and American Flags.
Reached for a comment by Libertarian Republican, Communications Director for the Republican Party of Texas Bryan Preston had this to say:
"It's tough to be a Democrat these days. When they're not hiding from their own president, like Bill White did, they're hiding from their own Speaker of the House, like Chet Edwards will do next week. Now, Ciro Rodriguez either forgot to keep his web site alive or he's trying to masquerade as a Republican. No one's fooled, Ciro. You voted for Obamacare, you voted with your party's failed policies in lockstep, and you're going to be retired in November."Preston also pointed LR readers to a biting video just released by RPT, of liberal commentator Rich Hancock blasting Democrat for Governor Bill White, for not meeting Obama on his recent trip to the State.
"Bill White has got to dance with the girl he's brung. He's supportive of Barack Obama's policies, he's supportive of his Presidency."
