In a city like Hanoi, people concentrate on their daily lives, with little regard to something as small as the power company digging up a sidewalk to bury high voltage power cabling. When you are concerned about your children getting to school on time, you do not concern yourself with mobile phone transmission towers being placed on a nearby building. It's rare, but not unheard of, that I'll publish someone's Press Release. Every time I do, there's a reason for it. I am a HUGE fan of Neaju.com and what they are trying to accomplish. Those interested in the Citizen Journalism are aware of the success of the site OhMyNews out of South Korea, that is widely credited with influencing the outcome of South Korean presidential elections in 2002.
