A Stitch In Time

Issue 11, the latest free expansion for City of Heroes, is entitled A Stitch In Time. This expansion is scheduled for release later this year. Here's an summary of the features promised in Issue 11:

Issue 11: A Stitch in Time reveals that all that is and was is not as it should be! The mysterious Ouroboros organization, a group of beings from the ends of time, enlists the aid of Heroes and Villains to rewrite the past. Heroes and Villains are able to travel through time using the new Ouroboros System, which opens the gates to both new and existing content for players. Issue 11 also unleashes two brand new power sets: Dual Blades and Willpower, giving Heroes and Villains a slew of new power options. Additionally, Dual Blades offers Weapon Customization – taking the “City of” Character Creator to the next level! And the Inventions system is enhanced with new “Very Rare” Purple invention sets.

I've enjoyed playing City of Heroes/City of Villains in the past but currently have my account deactivated. This looks interesting, though. I'm not positive it's quite interesting enough to reactivate the account. It has been a year or more since they last introduced a new powerset in the City of ... universe and it is a new Tanker powerset at that....but still, the game began to get really monotonous at the higher levels. A new powerset means a new character to try out the powerset. Is it worth it? Perhaps I will make the sacrifice to give you all a better review. (Or, perhaps I'm just looking for a reason to turn back on one of my old favorites?)
