Claire Danes Chooses Narciso Rodriguez to Design Wedding Gown

Actress Claire Danes will wed her Evening co-star Hugh Dancy in Europe come September, and she'll be wearing her dream gown.

The former My So-Called Life star told People at Monday's CFDA Fashion Awards that close friend Narciso Rodriguez is designing her wedding dress, much to her delight. The two are apparently close friends. She said:
He's making it. I get weepy...more emotional than I was expecting... It's amazing, I'm so privileged. I'm collaborating a little bit, but I'm just trusting him implicitly. I'm offering my ideas, but they always pale in comparison to his.
Narciso, for his part, seems equally charmed by Danes. He said of the actress:
She's an extraordinary woman inside and out. That always comes through. You can't hide it. I just try to make her look more beautiful. And it's not hard to make her look beautiful. Narciso Rodriguez became a household name when he designed the gown the late Carolyn Bessette wore to her wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr.
