Zac Efron visited the White House on Tuesday to lobby administration officials on behalf of Americans for the Arts. Efron was joined by actor Claire Danes and director Richard Linklater on the visit, where the group requested more funding for the arts in public schools.

In a Sept. 29 story on the marriage of actors Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, The Associated Press erroneously attributed background information to publicist Jodi Gottlieb. Gottlieb announced their marriage, but did not say they met two years ago while filming "Evening." That information came from a 2007 interview with Danes on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman."
